Bak was back with a revamped and refreshed look for the 2023 edition of the festival. The new challenge was to draw an audience to three separate locations with event days kicking off in Wrexham, Swansea and Cardiff. Some of the highlights of the festival were sell out events for the film Alice Street, over two nights at Taliesin Arts Centre in Swansea, Football Diplomacy with special guests from the Basque Country and a one-to-one with controversial Croatian legend, Davor Šuker and Annie Glas.
