The International Association for Community Development brings together practitioners, thinkers, and changemakers from every corner of the globe. When they chose Glasgow for their landmark Global Conference, they chose us to build the digital home for it.

From the ground up, we designed and developed a conference website worthy of the occasion, mobile-first, beautifully branded, and built around delegates, partners, and community leaders from every continent.

The challenge was to engineer complex functions into a graceful and easy user journey that looked good and positioned IACD as a world leader. A multi-tiered ticketing system serving members, non-members, students, and international delegates. A programme built for scrolling, not squinting. A "Pay It Forward" bursary option that embeds IACD's values of equity and inclusion into the very act of registration.

We hoped we succeeded in creating a digital experience as ambitious, global, and community-centred as IACD itself.
