Executive produced by bak, Steel: The Blood of Us is a cinematic love letter to the end of the industrial revolution, capturing the community of Port Talbot, Wales, in its final year of traditional steelmaking. Through raw, poetic storytelling and evocatively shot on 16mm film it weaves together the voices of generations to celebrate a way of life on the brink of vanishing.

An emotional community event saw over 206 people gather in the town for a screening of our 35mm print of the film. The film is being distributed to film festivals internationally with a provisional premiere at a major international festival in the diary for the summer and ongoing discussions with broadcasters about acquiring the film.
